Final work was carried out to the mould today, we will be producing the first component in the new year For a fully trimmed, Original fitting, 2k lacquered pre preg 2x2 twill carbon fibre part £549.99, based on an exchange basis regarding heatshields (the diffuser will come with reconditioned OE Renault heatshield)
Gel Coated OE part

RTS Resin & 12 plies of fibreglass matt

New mould parted from OE part

Ado - filler and primer and was mint yes, no problem

The part will be 2k lacquered and baked so i wouldnt be concerned about stonechipping being a concern tbh

We havent made the component yet so do not know, I will weigh the standard one though on Sunday. Not really a weight thing for many people but going to be under half, more about the look with this part for many people, as 197s are hardly light lol
