carpet cleaners

Luckily my clio's carpets are dark, id hate to think how dirty they'd be in a light colour, but the family car floors are in a terrible state. i want to buy anelectric carpet washer, not to expensive, sumthing like a Vax spot scrubber if they're are any good. Has anyone got any recomendations? p.s. im after the new carpet look

Not sure which one the Vax spot scrubber is but the normal Vax that looks like a vacuum cleaner but is the carpet cleaner which the attatchment for cars i'd highly recommend. I have the two tone seats which nothing really cleans well apart from this.

A couple of friends have got one for under £90 which is a good deal. You squirt the cleaner down and then the Vax sucks it all up and you will be amazed the amount of dirt that comes out.

Just buy any old 'wet capable' vacuum cleaner.

I used to spray the entire carpet with AutoGlym interior cleaner, go over the lot with a pressure washer, vac out all the water, and jobs a goodun.

I used to do that when i used to valet Taxis with beige carpet, works a treat.

im thinkin of this 1 actually, powerfuland 20%off in b and q, plus in the long term it would be more appropriate to use in the house also.

Go down to Homebase and rent a rug doctor for about £30 for 24 hours.

Use it in your house while your at it as well.
