cd re-writer

When iam trying to transfer music onto disc from my computer it keeps telling me theres an error either dirty disc or use another disc which i have done,and it still wont do it .driving me doo lally anybody got any ideas what it could be,oh and also tried various burning speeds to no avail .HELP. :S :S :S :S :S :S :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

V1nny,iam using nero and i have updated all firmware but nothing,iam begining to think cd re writer is goosed

If its just music give WMP a try at burning.
Nero has so many settings that could be wrong.

Are using different discs to what you usually use? I know I've had the same problem before with DVD's so I wondered if it was similar with you.

CDRW's do actually pack up after time.

gave up farting about with rewriter just ordered one off e-buyer ,pioneer one for £20 .
