changed shocks and arb bushes now I have a banging over bumps?

I changed the shocks and arb bushes and I now have a banging from the passenger side. shocks are standard but the bushes are poly.

any ideas? iv had a look and nothing looks to be visibly loose and Im sure I tightened everything up. it only makes a noise over bumps. do poly bushes make that much noise?

did you tighten the wheel nuts up properly when refitting ? it will be something obvious hopefully

Yup I remember doing them up, Im wondering if. maybe the spring didn't seat properly?

stick your hand in there and try to give the spring a wiggle, if it moves at all then something isnt right

Just hope you don't get your fingers caught if it decides to seat while your fingers are in there!

Take it apart again and refit. Could be a top mount knocking? Heat sheild is more of a rattle, Could be engine mount or any of the usual suspects.

should be ok if you grab in the middle

yeah best be would be to get it jacked up, wheel off and have a decent look

Sorted it, it was a loose top mount nut!
