Changing my brakes and look what i found.....



i didnt expect to find this when i took the wheel off aghhhhh

But soon sorted it, Painted calipers and added my Brembo HC Disks.

^Take the CV joint off, slide a new gaitor on, CV joint back on, clip it up and jobs a good un.

Brakes look really good behind the wheels mate!

You mean re-pack it with grease and put a new clip on?

Why would you replace a gaitor that isn't split, the pic shows only the clip has broken

mate i dont exactly know what im looking at in the first pic.

A knackered CV joint gaiter. Hence the grease all over the hub that should be inside the gaitor lubricating the joint.

Mine has gone to.
Went to take it to have the exhaust checked cause i thought it was blowing looked up and the CV has split and dumped a load of greas on the inside of my wheel L/H.
Just bought two new ones £8 each, get them done this week.

Like the pads by the way.
 
Ive just finished painting the rear this evening. All back together now! will post some pics soon, even though theres not much to see on the rear ones.

after seeing this mind is pretty much made up think red can be a bit to much unless youve got some massive brembos!
