Cheap car battery?

I need an 027 battery for a mk1 Clio 1.9d.

The cheapest I can find is £47 inc vat from a local motor factors.

Now this pisses me off a bit as I normally buy recon batteries for £17 but the company has disappeared off the face of the earth so I need to buy a new one!

Can I get one cheaper elsewhere??

thats not that bad tbh for an 027, your not likely to pick one up for £20 new if thats what your hoping

an 075 would do fine for a Mk1 Diesel and should be a lot cheaper

I haven't seen one of them dirt cheap batteries for yonks. I think the cheapest battery we sell is an 063 for about 30 quid.

Managed to get a battery for a toyota van for about£25 delivered off ebay

Got an 027 sorted today, off a company called Ferarri! lol.

£35 inc vat. Had to collect it, but s'all good.

There were no green vans, no vans at all infact! place looked deserted! but the lady was wearing a green shirt!

They're a motor factors, supply all sorts. My mate works next door in a different motor factors and suggested them, I've never even heard of them!
