Knowing just how much the panels cost on a V6, it's likely the damage was fairly minor, but the cost of repair would have been massive, which could have been why the insurance company wrote it off.

On the other hand it could be a death trap. lol

Been discussed in various threads previously ... including a picture of the damage. From the look of it, there's no reason to assume it's a dog. Fairly typical tap on the front, but being a V6 the costs quickly mount up .

i think i'd prob have it as well but would def take my renault tech mate with me to check it out.

Yep ... 18 Mars Red Mk2 in the UK according to the data I've seen. Ironically there are 182 of the "common" Illiad Blue Mk2s like mine .
