Anyone know what gets altered when you get a performance ECU?

Im guessing the fueling gets reworked... but Ive heard the rev limiter gets pushed up a bit...

Now I may be soft but arent rev limiters there for a bloody good reason ie: to stop the pistons trying to escape through the bonnet.

Surely just increasing the rev limit is going to damage your engine.

The benefit of a remap is you can get them to do any thing you want. If you want the rev limit at 6500 they can do it.

The best way round would be to do all your engine mods first IE: zorst/filter and then go get it setup to your mods.
