Circular seal plate supplied with Meg 250 front wheel bearing?? 🤔

I can’t for the life of me figure out where it fits!
Online images/ guides (197/meg) don’t picture it being used.

It physically doesn’t fit / seat neatly anywhere on the hub, before/ after the new bearing pressed. Or on the hub itself. It’s too big.

Upon removing the old wheel bearing, this circular part wasn’t used previously..

Do I even need it, and if so where does it go please? 🫣

That's exactly what it is.

OP. For some reason, Renault put the rear ABS plate in with the front wheel bearing kit. I'd keep a hold of it as they're something which can tend to rot away and cause issues.
