Cleaned/Euro mk2 phase 1 172 rep (Something special for fcs!)

I purchased the car on the 17/08/09 off t scotty and its e scottys old car. The look im going for with the car is cleaned/euro.

so heres the spec...

Clio mk2 phase 1 grande 1.2 2000.

Engine..
powerflow stainless centre section with custom chrome twin tailpipe.

Chassis..
Spax 30-40mm shocks and springs.

Exterior..
colour coded bumpers, spolier, mirrors, fog lamp cover, side strips, door handles.
172 side skirts.
clear side repeators.
Ktec chrome angel eyes.
Phase 2 rear lights.

Interior..
Phase 2 182 leather and alacantra front seats, rear bench and doorcards.
richbrook gear knob.

Wheels and tyres..
Ronal turbo alloys 15".
tyres 195/45/15.

and here it is now...

With davis88 jacking up the front for the drivers 182 seat to be fitted.

Since getting the car ive taken off the eyebrows, the hand sticker on the bonnet and fitted the 182 interior which i got from hicky_j
My vmaxx coilovers are coming on monday so it will be slammed and ready for trax to show off :rasp: and i also have ordered a smooth rear wiper surround off tony on here.

lower n dial the stance in and its finished, maybe get rid of the line in the trim piece on the bumpers i love this n it will be spot on when you do what i said

perhaps a dynamic rear spoiler too??

very very nice on the wheels, suit the silver really well,

a tad lower, perhaps some spacers,
also dislike what everys going on with the mesh behind your bumber,
looks very chavy, the angel eyes dont help the chaviness too,
perhaps keep ur eyes peeled for some dual optics,

other than that i love it

its a term you say when someone should alter the stance so its perfect, like spacers, camber, lower all them things.

its actually ment to be dial in the stance not dial the stance i just missed the "in"

dont always need stretched tyres main reason people do it is for arch clearance i cant see him having much problem tbh ill photoshop it

not a huuge fan of camber tbh,

I've always wondered if Turbo's would work on a Clio...this has just concreted it for me.

cheers for the comments! if i plan to keep the standard bumpers i will smooth the swage line but my plan is to get a phase 1 front bumper and wings but smooth the lines on the bumper and get a phase 2 rear bumper and smooth the plastic trim! but before that im going to smooth the badge on the bonnet and the washer jets and smooth the boot but keep the recess. i have a sport spoiler waiting to go on just needs painting. but yer i carnt wait till monday, slammmmmmmmage

Heres a couple of pics i took today on my new 12.1mp cybershot that i got for free from work :rasp: you really wouldnt think the cars done 90,000 odd miles how mint the car is which is a credit to how well the scotts have kept it.

I recon u shud change the side strips and bullets to the phs2 ones tho and but a phs2 or a phs1 172 rear bumper on it

i did do it a little to much but i decided after id flattened the image and followed threw with adding the shaddows so i couldnt be arsed fixing it lol

cheers ben im hoping i dont have camber that bad lol! but yer the interior went straight in the only thing that needed modifing is that i have to put the phase 1 window switches on insted but atm there inside the speaker covers lol!

yer i love that brown one, the front of it is perfect imo for mine. the only thing im going to do differenty is smooth the swage line and thats it!

cheers dude i got the full interior for £200 in the end and its such a bargain its mint aswell no rips or fag burns nothing! the vmaxx coilovers that are coming on monday were £350 from speedbox delivered and with a free goody bag lol! so hopefully if i get them in time theyl be on on monday with piccy's

hmmm yummy but the extended rear bumper is utter gash thats one thing i hate the dutch for doing extending bumpers it looks shite

vmaxx arrived today
heres a pic of the front shock as thats all i had time to do tonight!!

spax shocks i had on

and vmaxx fitted

before

and fitted to the n/s front

there actually very simple to fit when you know what to include when you build them up! when i started i just fitted them as they came out of the box epic fail! i then looked at the shock i had taken out and rear the little bit of paper in the box saying include the bearing! so i tried again and still it was wobbiling on the top mount! so i then tried again and included the rubber and finaly got there lol! im still going to go 5mm lower on the front and im hopefully going to get the rest done tomorow! hope you like tommy

I'd get it as low as physically possible if I were you mate. Using that brown one as your inspiration is definetely a good thing, it's stunning apart from the rear bumper as said. Keep us updated.

cheers mate it will be going lower but i need to do the rears as low as poss first then match the front to the rears! hopefully will all be done for tomorow will hopefully be getting back my smooth rear wiper surround for the end of the week so the rear will be cleaner!

invest in a decent trolley jack, and some standard dual optic lights would look better!

Btw where did u get the washer jets?
