i changed my rear plastics today to the phase 2 darker one's
before...

after...

i also got my brand new reno phase 2 parcel shelf which i got for £24

also managed to get a 3000watt amp wiring kit from loudest.com for £35 delivered

And also pics from mine a davis88's outing with the moo moo's

i soooo want a 172 front end, but smoothed and with the lower grille cut out and a phase 2 lower grille insted.

look what came from reno today

1*2 cup spoiler brand new from france with new brake light for £150 inc vat (discounted rate)
the plan now is to smooth the washer jet hole and just paint the 172 rear bumper and get a stealth back box. im going to get a streamline carbon rear trim when funds permit.
heres 2 pics with the lights on dipped and full beam.... im sure someone asked for pics with them on?

just managed to find a 172 front bumper from a breakers for £130 delivered, so thats coming thursday/friday and is going straight to the bodyshop to have custom work/paint
im also getting from reno 2 brand new 172 wings for £120 for the pair and a 1*2 lower grille for £30.
so biggggg updates coming soon!

you do realise that your skirts wont fit the rs wings...

you will need rs skirts. or bodge it

as regards to the skirts im going to give reno a ring and if there not to expensive then ill just get the brand new from them. which means my rep skirts will be for sale in november if anybodys interested?

rang reno today and they wanted £250 inc vat for the skirts which is too expensive so from the same place as ive got the bumper ive got the skirts for £50! so all i have left to do now is order the wings on the 26th! carnt wait until its done

wings for the 172 phase 1 are £75 retail from reno, i can get the for £60
so there getting ordered when im back from bristol!

The fact its colour coded

had a mini service today at 96,000 consiting of oil change (10/40 semi), oil filter, air filter, fan belt all fitted for £15 inc parts
also got my phase 2 door card clips for the electtric window/pocket to bolt to the door. my automotive electrician is also going to extend my electric window wires so i can use the phase 2 switches. currently i have had to remove the front door speakers and have the electric window switch hanging out of the speaker hole lol. pics coming ver soon of the bumper and skirts which should hopefully of arrived today at work.

the bumper was £100
the skirts were £50!
the wings brand new from reno are £120 for the pair
the lower 1*2 grille is £30
i need to get it photoshopped but will look amazing when done, just got to save for the full respray now

mines a 1.2 8v also, every time i go euro or autocarparts and ask for an oil filter, give my reg and they plonk that infront of me,

mine has a re-useable outer case, and you change the filter paper inside,

would think it may be somethings been changed in its life, but renault always give me the right one lol.

got a treat from reno today my 2 172 wings and 1*2 lower grille. i also got my "slammed & dammed" sticker.

next on the hit list......
- my custom repeator in the side strips/bullet.
- smooth repeator hole in my 172 phase 1 front wings.
- smoothed bonnet badge and washer holes.
- smoothed boot latch and badge pins.
- non sunroof panel with smoothed ariel.
- smooth my 172 phase 1 front bumper swage line and fit lower 1*2 grille.
- smooth my rear 172 phase 2 bumper.
- smooth washer hole on my cup spoiler.
- full respray in porsche sepia brown.

in the next couple of days my legal pressed plates are coming from dubmeister and a plate surround for the rear. also ordered some yellow tint film from lamin-x. ill keep you posted and hopefully the progress will be asap

bonnet doesn't look good smoothed in my opinon mate, theres nothing there to break it up and looks odd.

other mods sound good, if only I had the money to spend lol.
