Clearing things up, oil breather filter.

Well, my parts finally came, and I have completed my set up, only the little breather filter did not show up.

I wanted to share the look of the hose that is left hanging now, and how it sits, and make sure that it is ok to leave it like that for the moment, until I put my oil breather filter on.

How it ends.

And I still want to share how I made my puppy look. I think I might have overkilled it with the tighteners.

Not ideal having an unfiltered route of air into the engine but realistically wont do any harm Im sure given its only the ICV

Those clamps are so over the top, more suited to a high boost turbo than an N/A where there is no really pressure anyway, maybe .25 psi or so at most, lol

Well I guess you guys understand that this is my beloved weekend car. But I do agree that it is slightly over the top. I am also pretty sure it is ICV, so the worst case senario, some oil leaks happen.
