Clicking/knocking noise when turning right

Hey folks

Thought I might get more replies in this section.

Heres the original thread

http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?662178-Clicking-noise-when-turnin-right

Basically when I turn right at above 30 mph(sometimes under aswell) I get a funny clicking/ticking/knocking noise coming from the drivers side.

Had DjwJohn look at it and he thought it was the inner cv joint. Replaced shaft with a spare he had that was not noisy when it came off. Went a test drive and the noise is still the same.

So anything anybody can suggest checking? Or is it diff/gearbox rebuild time? :(

Cheers

I has a similar problem 2 weeks ago. Turned out my bearing under the strut had fallen apart.

I think I've solved the problem. The driveshafts were too long believe it or not lol. Only just finished fitting standard ones so will see if the noise is gone in the morning.

Fingers crossed :)

As you can see just a little longer lol

Big thanks to swr in Stirling and djwJohn off here who had two used shafts at a great price :)
