Clio 1.4RT

Hi
Im not planning on buying a car for another few months but im looking into
it already to make sure i get the most i can for my money
Anyways, the Renaul Clio 1.4Rt seems like a nice little cheap motor. Around
a 95/96 plate thats done about 50000 can be picked up for about £1500.
Insurance seems quite low as well
Does anyone know if these are any good or what the performance figures are like. Im after something a little nippy (faster than my 1.0 fiesta and
definitely faster than those poxy novas that seem to be everywhere.

PS Just for other recommendations i should have 1 years NCB and im trying to keep insurance close to £1000 (probably third party). Im looking to spend upto 2k on a car

Is there any difference between 3 and 5 door except looks?

For a 1.4 youll be lucky to find owt that can keep up, VTRs can be kept up with, 90% novas cept those 2.0 ones!

All in all, good car for the money, had mine 2 1/2 years and love it to bits!!!
