Clio 1.8 16v cams

  Nissan 200sx S13
i found out my valver has kent cams and vernia pullys, do they make much difference,

also has anyone had there valver rolling roaded with cams, pullys, de-cat and exhaust, k+n.
What sort of power can i expect

My car idles at 1500rpm, is this because of the cams or is it my idle control valve is fucked.

Thanks for any help

this probably don't help at all but mine sbeen rolling roaded..

it has a panel filter, full exhaust and decat and ran 117 atw's or about 140bhp

i would change your k&n for an OE airbox to as they are so much better

on some cars high lift cams will make the idle keep rising and dropping, but 1500 is still a bit high, if they are good cams and have a custom remap and timing adjusted proply, you should get a good return off them, but they have to be set up correct!!

You get very little off cams alone....they need headwork on the 1.8 to give anything noticable.

The idle is not down to the cams.
