Clio 16v Chrome engine detailing

I want to get a chrome/polished rocker cover and also inlet manifold plus some other chrome bits for my clio 16v engine? anyone done this?

you cant chrome em mate ive been told by my local chroming place

they are aluminium

Its easy enough to do, you just need alot of patience, time and sand paper.
