Clio 172 chip/remap

Hi all,

I was wondering if i could get some advice on which route to go down. I am looking to get my 172 cup remapped or chiped in the near future. The car has a decat and cat back exhaust and an enclosed induction kit.

I am up near Aberdeen so not alot of clio tuners up near me so is there any generic chips for the clio or is there any software out there to allow mapping by yourself, i have experience in mapping my brothers 400bhp 200sx

My car has been mapped with the 98 ron map, so to has my brothers. Loads on the forum have used it.

If you decided to get one follow read the instructions fiirst like most on here seem not to then start a thread about all the problems.

BHP wises very little. which is expected of a NA engine

However the the map is a good map, the "driveabilty" will improve and the 5K kick will be smoother.

The Rstuner is also capable of doing diagnostics which is very useful, if you dont want to keep it you can have it unlocked and sell it on. If you do it correctly you can have the map for like 20quid

the RSTuner is a great bit of the kit for the money as Bazzon has said, ive had mine for over 2 years now without issues
