clio 172 climate control and heater system

hi guys. recently brought a 52 reg 172, with climate control, the actuel box works fyne no problems with box but it doesnt blow hot air or cold ait out if i turn it up or down, it has a built in sat nav to so i dont no wether any wires are conected or not, plus if i turn the system on a funny smell comes through like a dry burnt smell kinda thing, difficult to explain, when the systems off some cold air comes through to my feet thats it.:S. just wondering if anyones had the same issue or anyone could help me id be very very greatful,many thanks. mine does the same mate, ive read up on forums etc and its something under the wiper scuttle panel which is apparently a common fault with these. i cant remember the exact name of the part but its a fairly cheap part but a nightmare to fit apparently. type the problem in on google and eventually you will find out what it is. hope this helps
