Hi guys,i'm looking to buy a 2002 clio 172 cup.I've heard on various other forums that they don't score on the reliability marks too well, are they really that bad, even cars that are only a few years old?
well i've never heard of anything major being a problem. Engines on the whole seem bullet proof, only problems can be not having the aux belt changed around 35k... if not changed and it does fail, it has been known to take out the cambelt. Piece of piss to change on a cup too, and the belt itself is around 12 notes iirc
There juts like any Clio but there relaible it totally depends you find bad Bentleys and Porches.
The reliability would never put me off buying one.
