Clio 172 cup boot..

just been to see a blue Clio 172 cup and it was spotless with only 60k on the clock, plenty of new parts fitted recently too but the boot lid seems to be offset at one side.. one side is a bit higher than the other and doesn't seem to be fully touching the seal.. Any ideas what the problem could be and if it's fixable?

I'd have asked the guy but it's his sons car who recently moved to Oz and he doesn't know a lot about it..

Replacement bootlid?

Spare wheel area damaged or behind the bumper?

Check under roof lining for the fixings, loosen them and play around with the alignment, or if the painted area around the brackets/fixings looks ok, maybe its been badly repaired?

Could be as simple as its been shut badly at some point.

No damage around the area that I could see as I said car was totally spotless.. I've been to see a few and not seen one this clean yet.

Going off replies I doesn't seem to be anything too serious so I'll probably pull the trigger on this one and if I need to buy a replacement bootlid.
