Clio 172 cup cambelt replacement,what mileage does it need doing?

Hi,
Am thinking of buying my brother in laws 172 cup,it's done around 45k on a 2003 plate.Not knowing much about Renault's can any one tell me when the cambelt would need changing and is it a costly business?

Any things i should be looking out for on a car like this?

Should have been done at 5 years old mate.

Its 5 years or 72,000 miles whichever comes first.

Cos its a cup, no aircon I assume, its only about £230 for a belt kit fitted.

It's a yearish overdue.

And the aux belt is a yearish and 9k overdue.

Ok thanks for that guys,it's a proper lightweight cup version with no aircon. If i buy it the belts will be done ASAP!
