Clio 172 Cup couple of issues

Just got my self a 172 cup but was wanting to get a few bits sorted on it to make it perfect.

First one is the central locking, the passenger and boot locking by pressing the button but the drivers door doesnt, i can lock it and unlock it via the key, i take it i need a new central locking motor for the door

Second one, how much do new coolant bottles cost, my one is quite dirty making it hard to see the coolant level, Also how easy is the cup to bleed the coolant system ?

Yep, new solinoid/lock needed. Its all one unit mind, about £70 new. If your handy though, trip to the scrappers should see you right, 99% of Clios (non RS) have remote central locking........
Bleeding not too bad, watched Birchdown do mine, seems straightforward enough imo

Just out of curiosity, where is the bleed nipple for bleeding the system when changing the coolant?

it's an anonymous looking bolt on the side of the thermostat housing. think there's a picture of it in the workshop manual

it might be worth taking the expansion tank off/disconnecting bottom hose so that you can try to hose/scrub it out, rather than renew it

Cheers Henry, plan on changing the coolant at somepoint as I'm not sure when it was last done.

Airbox out, R/H side thermostat housing, by where the top rad hose connects off memory

The drivers door central locking stopped working on mine but it still locked via the key, it was the connector at fault, it had just become corroded so try some WD40 on it first

I got Hutchie off here to do mine mate

Remove the door card though and you should see it easily enough, theres a guide on here somewhere that tells you how to do that

Ok sorted the lock, just required a little clean up and some wd40, is renault the only place to get a replacement coolant bottle from ?
