CLio 172 ECU remap

I have been told that i cannot remap my existing ecu and i would have to buy a remapped ecu.

Is this true?

Wrong . You can remap your ecu .Pmurray on here comes highly recommended .He owns Rstuning . If you do a search you'll see alot of people rate him highly .

ive got a clio 172 got all the remmaping software and leads but my ecu wont wake up when i try to read it can anybody help
