Clio 172 help!!

I went to look at a 172 today on a 51 plate.

When im putting the details into RAC datasearch etc its coming up as a clio sport 8v??

I didnt know they made 8v 172s??

Anyone know anything on this??

There's no such thing as 8v 172's.

What's the plate?

Have you seen the car so you actually know it's a 172 or is it being described as a 172?

There are 8v Clio "Sports" out their but these have nothing to do with Clio Renaultsports.

Yeah went to see it today. Was 172 in all ways - engine was 172

Came back HPI clear and everything

In that case it's just got the wrong details on RAC.

Best to check the V5 form and see what's printed on there.

Mistake with the RAC data if you've seen the car and HPI'd it.

When I'm getting quotes for my car and I insert my number plate details online, a couple of insurance companies think my car is a 1.4 clio sport! :dapprove:

Yeah saw v5 and all looked good.

My mate was just teling me his car is down wrong with RAC so i think il be right.

Picking it up next sat i cant wait
