Clio 172 Specs

Do the early Mk2 (2001) Clio 172s come with either traction control or cruise control as standard??

Im sure they all come with ESP as standard, cruise control is optional.

No! mines a march 02 and Iv none of the above, thanfully as Id rarely use them anyway. I thnk end of 02 early 52 may have tho

No... the mk1 and early mk2 172s do not have ESP, and cruise control was only on the last of the mk2s.

All standard, not available as options.

My 03 has esp but not cruise, i think cruise came in on 53s and 04s

Bloke at works brother has a Y reg mk2. Its not gone either. Reckons its one of the first in the country. Silver on course

Hes had LOADS of problems with it

The first Mk2 2 were Y reg.

It may have been a test model thinking about it Evo had a silver Mk2 2 Y reg 172 have you checked to see if it is the same car?

To sum it up 172s dont have esp until about April 2003, then about 6 months after they started coming with ESP and cruise control.

BTW I wouldnt worry if you dont have it I usually turn mine off, although its handy in really poor weather conditions

Never thought of that. Ill double check it is Y reg then. Not sure as it might be a personnal plate.
