Clio 172 Sport or 172 Cup????

My First Post!

I'm looking at Clio 172's.

I got about £5500 once I sell my current car (Golf GTTDi 110 black 3 dr T-Reg 97,000) If anyone is interested ?

I'm not to sure if the Cup is worth losing the goodies over? I prefer its exterior looks but no Air-con & Leather etc, will they be missed?

From the driving experience do they differ much?

Your going to have a massive shock on build quality! Personally i'd rather have the air con etc, but i do like the cups.

To be honest mate, I haven't been impressed by the Golf. It's pretty solid, but pretty damn boring. I had a 1.4 Corsa that gave me more exitement!

I think I'm with you, love the looks of the Cup, but also love my Goodies!

I suggest using the search function. The pros and cons have been weighed up many a time.

There are a few Cups that came with Climate Control as an option. But they are rare and some of the last to be built so generally worth more

Sport...you'll be thankful for the aircon and climate control when the summer comes..

For the few nano seconds the cup is quicker is it really worth not having xenons or leather too??

depends what sort of driving you do..

the 172 cup is ment to be better to drive on the limit and down a twisty backroad, but the 172 is still brilliant in these areas too!

if your belting down backroads all the time etc then id get a cup, if you do the odd backroad run and more motorway town driving etc then id get a normal 172 (full fat) climate control is worth it in the summer. late ones have esp and i think cruise control? xenon headlights look awesome and half leather is nice.

think the normal 172 has the better stereo too

If i could have it my way i would want the cup with xenons and leather/alcantara.Your best test driving both if you can to get the feel of them but the cup is generally a better performer than comforter.
