Clio 172 washer motor, why do i have 2 when 1 does front and back?!

As titled why does my washer bottle have 2 pump fitted on the washer bottle when the motor on the RIGHT does the front and the back jets. The left one does nothing when i press the screen wash so what is it? Thanks for any help

Normally its forbthe headlamp washers. Either you had these and they've been removed or you've had the washer bottle changed at some point.

turn the headlights on (manually) and try again

As per Fred...the headlight washers only work when there is power to the lights (they are on...either sidelights or main beam)
