Clio 172

  Nissan 200sx
I have been offered an 03 plate clio 172 with approx 50000 miles on it for a really low price, I done a hpi check and it came back as being recorded cat d. Would any of you still buy a car on a cat d ?

depends how low the really low price is. can get a decent one with no issues pretty cheap nowadays. or just buy a ph1 as there cheaper still.

Make sure you can get insured on it, as some insurance company's wont touch them.

you need to ask yourself the question why the seller hasn't told you it's a Cat D in the first place, if they are hiding a major thing like that is there anything else their hiding about it ?

just make sure you give it a good going over

Also as well, if the insurance company have to pay out on it, they'll give you less than a non-recorded car (as it's been paid out on before)

I'd be wary.
