Clio 172FF Import Value??

Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone could give me any idea as to the value of my clio 172 / what you would be willing to pay. Details as follows:

- 2002 (02 reg)
- 40,000 miles
- I am the second owner
- Service History - Last done @ By Renault Manchester @ 32,000 miles
- All belts changed by Renault Specialist @ 38,000 miles (as per Renault's advice)
- K-tec stelth cat back exhaust fitted @ 36,000 miles (original standard one was rotten & fell off)
- Cat 1 alarm fitted by first owner when new
- Locking wheel nuts


I have read & been told different things in terms of value. Just need to get an idea as maybe selling.

It shouldn't be worth any less than a UK car if it has the locking nuts and alarm.

If you take it to a dealer prepare to have your heart broken . Sell it private and you'll get more . I sold my import 172 for the same price as similar age , mileage etc .... 172's on Autotrader . As long as you have an alarm and locking wheel nuts you should get the same price as UK models as well .

I have the same year with 46k and I had it valued for p/x at £5000, so I'd say mine is worth £5500 private. So yours should be similar.

ive just traded mine in same year but 57k. i got £5000!

I got over 6 for mine and close to 7 inc the sale of other bits and pieces from my old 02 plate 172.
