Clio 182 beeps like crazy when i reach 80mph

As above I've just bought a Clio 182 when I drive it its fine. As soon as it get to 80mph it beeps. I'm sure it's the dash that beeps to say I'm doing 80 mph but I'm not sure. Very random. Anyone know what this is or if I can stop it. Thanks in advance.

Speed limiter setting? Check the switch on the right hand panel under steering wheel. Likely set to 80 and giving you a warning

I believe this is a feature that can be enabled/disabled through CLIP?

Its an option called "overspeed" iirc amd needs to be set to off/on in CLIP

Why the actual fcuk would anyone want this? Especially when you can just set the limiter.

Is clip the only answer to this tried the speed limiter etc and did not change anything

Easy fix - stay below 80?

CLIP will be the only way of turning this off I'm afraid.
