I got some 4pots on a previous Clio... Unless you're doing track action I can't really justify it and look back on it as a mistake. My Trophy has braided lines, brembo discs and I think DS2000 pads (not totally sure) and it's always been more than adequate. Not sure I'd be pushing a car that hard on the road that the small difference between stopping would be noticed in that set up. Looks nice all the same.

Bet they bring such a small car to a stop pretty fast! look nice too :)

Budgie: picts of full car to come
Addz: they do mate but to stop the power that i have under the bonnet .
Danno: normal paint but with heat lacker
Nathanh: i have made the bracket my self and no isn't standard 182 discs

Mark fish already does a conversion kit for brembo 4pots. Steve used to run them on his Rb track car. Similar price I think. Shame they don't make a kit for the 182 really. Ap are very expensive and I've heard mixed reviews on the compbrakes.

They the calipers off a 197?

looks superb mate you must be running some power to justify them on road driving, what you got done to the engine?

no they not the calippers from the 197...
yes i have made the bracket my self
i'm a renault especialist and reg mechanic over 20 years on renaults so i know a bit

If the calipers are not 197/meganeRS what are they? They are stamped with renault, as in your first pic. I'm not aware of any other renault model with Brembo calipers?

Have you not upgraded to braided lines or have you just not shown that in the pictures?

Personally I think it's a pointless upgrade for a road car, but looks good all the same.

  Clio 172 RS2
Why is it pointless?

You have to stop no matter what.

Doing it in style with a bit more bite for sure.
197 has 'em... Meggy has 'em... Twingo do NOT! ;)

Monoblocs is the way Fwd.
Smarten's up the wheels... now all he needs is bellmounted rotors.

No longer rusty calipers and rotor facings.

ps. Power is nothing without control. :rasp:

Lol @ all the 'Overkill on a 1*2' comments, Suppose the 197/200 doesnt really need them then!? Renault should have wacked on some 1*2 Brakes with HC's and DS2500 instead.

Looks awesoem mate. They are not pointless, i think there amazing brakes. They are the same caliper as the 197/meg tho.

There's money to be made fellas if you can do the job with 4 pot brembos, I'd like some, if not for the stopping power then for cosmetic reasons

I really like the colour. It may be over kill on a road car, but so is having a cage/strut brace etc etc... so why not!

I would like to know what sort of power you have?
