Even on track they aren't 'needed', but they do look awesome. End of the day it's a 1ton car, new pads/discs/lines are easily good enough.

But they look great, love the colour choice.

Lol @ all the 'Overkill on a 1*2' comments, Suppose the 197/200 doesnt really need them then!? Renault should have wacked on some 1*2 Brakes with HC's and DS2500 instead.

I don't think people are saying that, just that it could be done for a whole lot less.

Lines, good fluid, HC discs and good pads = circa £300.

Four pots = circa £1,000.

The four pots will give you NO better on road performance, so that's £700 spent on looking good. Or not as the case maybe if you put the labels on upside down.
