I'm looking at buying a Clio 182 Cup across the muddy pond here in Australia but the engine number starts with f2r5736...
From what I can work out, the clio sport engine is supposed to start with f4r and the 182 is supposed to be 738 (736 is the 172??).
Can anyone shed any light on the matter or am I a complete n00b and the engine number has nothing to do with the Renault engine model number as listed in http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=331903?
