Clio 182 Cup or Clio 182 with Cup Packs?

Right sorry guys I am a newbie and have tried to find this without success.

If you saw 2 identically priced clios, 1 a Clio 182 Cup, the other a 182 with cup packs, what would you go for?

To my knowledge the cup has always been the cheaper buy however is there any plus factors on buying a standard 182 with cup packs?

Just noticed the thread on 172 Cup vs 172. I guess the 182 Cup is the same i.e without air con and ABS?

None. The 182 Cup is pretty f**king pointless tbh, especially if it's no cheaper.

Get the 182 with Cup packs.

No Cruise Control or Climate Control with the cup and only a little lighter - I think it will be a 182 with cup packs then.

182 Cup has Cruise Control, but only manual AC. The only thing it has that the 182 Full Fat doesn't is sunday market upholstery and a steering wheel from the bottom of the range Clio.

It's 20kg lighter, which is approx half a tank of fuel.

You can always remove weight from it yourself after wards for track use.

182 with cup packs makes more sense, has more luxuries and isn't really any slower like the 172 and 172 cup.

Don't bother with the Cup. The 182 with cup packs has more extras and a much nicer interior (half leather/alcantara), the Cup has cloth seats. 182 FF also has xenons - the Cup doesn't, and they didn't even bother to colour-code the covers where the headlight washers would go.

Difference in performance is negligable.

well you learn something new everyday.....didn't know renault did a 182 cup, thought they were all 182 ff with cup packs.

Personally don't buy either. either get a trophy or a proper 172 cup.

Trophy above all others. Amazes me the number of people that rate the 182cup as pointless, yet the 197 cup seems to get rave reviews.
