clio 182 shudders, engine management light on

My clio 182 can be driving fine then all of a sudden starts shuddering when i reach 2000 revs and is the same in all the gears then all of a sudden back to normal. took it to the garage and he did a diagnostic test and says the lamda sensor is knackered and the exhaust needs resealed? Could this be causing the shuddering?

I believe from reading on here the 182 has 2 lambdas. One pre and post cat.

Try swapping them over and see if it cures the problem

ye something like that. loses power and wont pull at all then all of a sudden burst of when the power comes back.

Sorry new on here but I had this problem on a different car and had to replace plugs, coil pack both lambdas and the found the problem to be the MAF same as I said not familiar with the Clio YET.

The Clios run a MAP sensor not MAF

Pre cat lambda. I had same prob 12 months ago. Buy a genuine one
