i had my 182 chipped bout 4 months ago.cost me an arm and a leg.not very impressed with it.taken the fun out the car!! no torque steer or immediate power. anyone else had theres superchipped?and is there a difference to an ecu re-map?
be grateful for ur views.

Why in the name of the wee wheel did'nt you take it back. Or take it home from the tuner in first place?

he talked the talk.only had a week to take it back.thought maybe the car jus needed to get used 2 it

Where was it? Could be he does'nt know his onions. The tuner that fitted my group n ecu is a Superchip dealer, but told me he would'nt have charged me for his chip if it had produced as little power as the group n.

From what i have been told by a mate he cant tell with his till he took it on the rollers

ok.did it have any noticeable difference on the rolling road.the only thing im getting that hes told me about is smooth power delivery.which i dont want,i power at the push of the throttle.

i had it done by ad superchips by a mobile service completed at my work.he said a few miles to let the car get used to the new setup.really dissapopinted.best part of 300 quid down the swanny.

remapped mine rather than superchipped , well impressed alot more torque :rasp:

It's funny how the mods and their hangers on think the tuners are wonderful.

a 10 bhp increase after remap is good going tbh
