Clio 197 - Brake Pads Change

  197
Hey guys anybody give me a decent idea how to change the pads on my 197 clio. The old boy is going to do it for me but i would rather get a bit of background info, does anybody have a clio 197 servicing manual?

Doddle, remove the wheel, 2 x metal pins that slide through the caliper, tap these from the outside in.

Be warned they are sometimes tight, so a bit of WD40 won't do any harm on the pins.

Then just the same as any other pad change, clean up, copper slip the backs and edges etc! :)

Thanks for taking the time to post back. I took a look at the rear ones tonight? is the calipers on the back those screw in ones and do i need a special tool to loosen them off (you know pull the pushrod back to make space for the new pads), also someone said i would need a t40 torx driver and proper flare nut bleed spanner.

ON the rear, undo one of the 13mm's, roll the caliper over and pull the pads out then you'll need a wind back tool to push the piston back.

Saw Fred doing a pad change a few weeks ago. Typical french, the pins were rusty and bent.
