2007 197 Cup
Just thought I'd add some pics of my girlfriends new car, we bought it a couple of months ago from a member on here.
He had owned it for a couple of years and spent a few quid fitting a 200 splitter, spraying certain bits black, fitting decent engine mounts and an aftermarket exhaust (Ktec I think).
It had the usual wear on the Recaros which were a bit manky, and the steering wheel and gear knob had the usual peel.
So after a bit of searching and speaking to various people on here and working out the cost, we found that Trimtek in the Wirral had a new set of Recaro covers tucked away, so we had them fitted ( the old covers are for sale btw) and we got Snappy to retrim the steering wheel and gearknob. while the seats were out I fully valeted the car including shampooing the carpet. Inside looks superb and is clean as a whistle.
The outside needed a full clay bar job and has come up really well.
Jobs to do include trying to persuade the Mrs to change the exhaust to standard as although I like the sound its a bit annoying on a run.
it needs a remap as its lumpy when cold, and its got a crackle on gear change but that's not worth doing until the exhaust is sorted.
