hi guys i got a clio 197 with a kink in front subframe so i need to change it ... i dont have a garage i do my work out side my house on axle stands ... i am a qualityed mechanic so im good with the spanners my question is how easy a job is the front subframe to remove and replace ? how long should i allow for the job

good with spanners but not spelling or grammar ;)

Cant imagine its a long job to be honest for a qualityed mechanic.

Maybe leave a couple of hours if that...

carp spelling or carp grammer but good mechanicing is another thing lol;)

so no specialist tools or anything required then ?

i have full array of spanners and sockets etc etc ill be doing it on my own and renewing drop links and brake pads at same time

Just make sure u line it up fully back on the pegs when you put it back. Seems common that lots aren't then you get pulling to the left

I've never done it myself . I'd say it will be a pain if not up in the air.. prob a couple of hours to half a day I'd guess

Tbh it's not the nicest job especially on the deck. Just start first thing in the morning and keep going with it.
