Clio 197/Megane 225 conversion review

I Love my Meglio, haven't had it on track as yet, but it has had it's issue's!
Firstly the package I bought was a waste of money! The only parts currently fitted to my car from the whole package I bought for £1100 is n/s driveshaft and gear selector and cables and both need replacing!
But if you buy wisely and don't want anything over 280bhp it can be done quite cheaply. It is a simple conversion if you do your homework, hardest part is fitting the Meg rad as you need to cut away the plastic slam panel and working out the pipework and the wiring loom.
Mine is running 304bhp 298lb/ft but is now forged, R26 box which I have to say is a great upgrade!
Going to upgrade the fuel system before getting it tweaked at Efi.
Also fuel economy is better, I'm getting around 24mpg! In std form it's much better.

TL : DR - should have done it sooner, and it cost me £880 total (breakdown in thread) to get it on the road start to finish, which is absolutely ridiculous money.
That net £880 cost will be paid back in fuel saving in about 2 years (and its not even my first car!) :O

I went in this at CSF and it was what convinced me to pull the trigger and do it. Bloody brilliant.

Come try mine if you're anywhere near the midlands, for a net cost of under £900 its phenomenal.
