this should prove which is faster, im convienced the clio is the better car, but the new typeR is another level when it comes to looks, it wins hands down even if its abit slower than the old typeR.

can sum1 tell me why does the civic edge forward then the clio shoots off & beats it.

Because the Civic driver backs off.

Closer than I thought tbh but not surprising the Civic had the edge.

just a 2L like the sport! lack of a turbo makes it step down to the clio's level

You can't really use 'home-made' videos to compare cars. For a start you don't know if either one has been modified in any way or not.

I think the guy in the 197 may have a passenger doing the filming. 1 up the outcome maybe different. (If they are both left hand drive)

I don't see how...not exactly scientific but neither sounds like they are modded and they have a few runs to show it isn't a one off lucky run...imo of course
