Clio 200 Brake problem!!

Just found this one PH, CL10 wanted to say Hai it would seem:

Gave the Clio a bit of a blat and parked it on my drive, sloped down towards the house. 20 minutes later I heard a loud bang which shook the house. When I opened the front door my car had travelled about 20 feet down the drive and crashed into the house. Handbrake was on. Brembro brakes work very well when they are hot but as soon as they cool they shrink and release from the disk. Be warned !

I remember this problem many years ago when Ford started using disk's on the rear.
I always leave mine in reverse to avoid this happening.

Im sure there are people out there that are not aware.
