Clio 2014

  Clio
Hello everybody, my name is Vitor, and I'm from Brazil.

This is my 2013 Clio (model year 2014). It's equipped with a 1.0 16V engine that produces 80 horsepower.

I plan to do an engine swap in the future, but so far, all I've done is add spoilers and wheels—which I’m planning to change soon!

Welcome Vitor

It’s crazy that’s it’s a 2001-2007 model from the UK only with different headlights, bumper, bonnet and grill.

What does the interior look like ?

Thank u TC!

Yeah, the Clio was a very good car, but it wasn't very appreciated in Brazil. So Renault decided to make it cheaper to be more competitive than the Volkswagen Gol, which had long been the most popular car sold in the country. As a result, the car didn’t undergo major changes—Renault simplified aspects like the suspension and engine power to cut costs. However, the 1.0 16V D4D engine was upgraded with technology developed by Renault’s F1 Team (https://omecanico.com.br/motor-desenvolvido-na-formula-1/). The interior is very similar to the older Clio, although the seats have a different design. I’ll take a picture and show you!

In Argentina, this car came with the 1.2-liter engine from the Twingo, which is worse than the Brazilian version
