Clio 3/4 damage from accident repair costs?

Car was wrote off they paid out £2,100 not bad as paid £1700

Purchased a golf gti as a stock gap it was s**t had to replace the engine turbo suspension etc and now stuck it up for sale I hate it

Will get another 172/182 in the spring

It's life mate unfortunately. These things happen. I was reading through the thread and thought I'm sure I've read this before, then saw the date!

But you had an £850 excess didn't you? So you got £1250?

That's what I was thinking, crazy excess (thought my £150 was high this year but premium justified, have had £50 total excesses previously) and presumably because young driver excess in conjunction with high voluntary to keep premium down. Reading back through the thread why did you ever claim for that damage.
