Clio 3 Project... Sporty Styling

Right well I feel its time for me to share my plans and current bits and bobs going on with my vehicle.

First thing I have done is fit a Green Performance Panel filter. Enhancement in performance is debatable but IMO the car does pull away better and attack hills with out such a fight, as for sound it sounds a litle less mincey being a 1.2 I don't want it sounding like a fat person burping :rasp:

I have purchased some Eibach Proline -30mm springs, no pics or review as of yet as the correct ones haven't arrived yet but all being well (and it had better be ) they should be on next Saturday.



My body kite arrived Friday. Got a deal on getting it painted so will see how much I have left after my next pay cheque and see if I can get it all painted and fitted some time soon:

An unexpected job I had to do was buying a new wheel and tyre after my other one bit the dust (litterally). Thankfuly I wasn't stung badly for a new wheel and got the tyrer cheaper through work which is cool

Other little bits forgot to mention :rasp: :

I have changed the head lights for some 8K bulbs from Halfrauds.

I am looking into getting some spacers to push the wheels out abit.

I will get it cleaned soon

You could get tinting spray and give it ago ive been meaning to do it for a while

The new one is on the other side but yes all Proxes on it. I having two new on the front then putting one of the old fronts on the rear as one of them is unevenly worn.

Halfrauds do tinting spray?

Watch out for it running on them see how it goes for you might do it myself to the rears

My springs also arrived, top dollar I hear you say? Not when they are for a 1.4! Second time UNLUCKY from K-tec on one order! Here they are any way:

humm, iv got a rs rep side skirts and front and back valances sitting in my garage waiting to go, never thot of duck taping them on to see what is looks like, must try that tomorow and see what it looks like

According to the Eibach website the 1.4+ engines are 100kg heavier on the front axel, meaning it will be too stiff and wont lower the front end as much + wont handle as it should.

Had a problem with my spacers last night; The wheel bolts where too long and jammed my front hubs Thankfuly Russ@Gas is sending me out some shorter replacements

My tinting spray arrived today so I set out to shmoke my side repeaters.

I think I went a little bit of a tad too dark on that one the other one isn't as black, I think I'll redo it but they do look good on the car IMO

Dosnt look bad will order myself a can and get them done and maybe give the rears a coat.....
