Clio Cabasse stereo vs standard

Car  A4 Avant & A3
Anyone know the differences between the 'normal' clio stereo & the 'cabasse' model?
Is it just the power output being 40w instead of 15w/22w or whatever it is?

As i don't want to get an different HU, would i benefit from getting one of these & some upgraded front components speakers allowing me to keep the original look of the interior but getting a better sounding stereo?

Also would my denison ice link iPod adapter work with the cabasse?

Cheers

from what i have made out it has more power output, non tuner list, and i think the display and the remote have a different wire config!

If you what better sound then new HU, yet the cabasse is a good radio! upgrading the front speaker with make it sound a bit better if you get good speakers!

the whole wiring (canbus) is different for the cabasse stereos. IMO they are a waste of time as you cant upgrade them as they are totally different to the normal ISO type connections on the standard stereos, if you wanted to upgrade to mp3 or anything you would need to rewire everything including the speakers. Unless your desperate to keep the original looks I would avoid cabasse like the plague, although its a lot better than the standard setup your still better off investing a few hundred notes on a proper HU and sub/amp IMO

ahhh thanks for that, i thought the wiring would be the same, meaning it would simply replace the existing one.
Oh well.... i won't bother then

Cheers for the comments
