Clio Cup @ Castle Combe (oops)



Headed down to Combe today for the first event of the year, the Charity Track Day. Cup Race Car and a Megane F1 were out on track amongst many others...

On a technical note, low bright sun + white car = nightmare to photograph.

Where was number 6 shot from ?

Westway (between Camp and Bobbies), all the regular photographers are kicking off and boycotting the circuit as they've put up a new fence there, I wanted to prove it's not a problem.

Quite a nice angle actually...

That was my guess but I was not sure. Chrissy said to me about it the other day that there had been some discussion on the forum about it.

They have extended the fencing where the first Evo accident was as well too ?

Yep, pleased they have done that, was a really vunerable spot for spectators/passers by.

As an aside about £2500 was raised for charity today, in no small part to that Clio which took passengers out all day despite the off. Was taking 3 or 4 laps to get any warmth into the tyres apparently.
