At the end of the day, it's still a Volvo. No matter how much BHP it's packin. No Kudos!

An update to this.

On a private airstrip/racetrack/dragstrip etc

Both launching at the same time. The clio being lighter pulled ahead first but

Uphill the volvo overtook when the clio was doing 70
Downhill the volvo overtook when the clio was doing 90

Lets average it as 80 on a flat then... Therefore the clio holds its ground fine at legal speeds yay.

Rolling speeds next time..

I highly doubt it has the bhp/torque that has been stated then as it should leave you for dust (unless he can't drive of course)

My mate had an 850 T5 estate years ago, I managed to drive it a few times. It will be way ahead of a clio in a straight line. Not sure about corners, seems this guy has spent some money on the suspension. Will still be really heavy so I'd imagine the clio would close the gap there.

Agreed, blatantly not the power his mate thinks it is.

Either that or the guy with the cup hasnt noticed someone turbo'd it, lol.
