Clio DCI 80 (172 Rep)

Hello,

This is my clio dci 80 that I bought for £800, last year and covered 120,000 miles, ive done a few things to it, so here it is when i bought it: (sorry for the rubbish photos)

Next day got the rs grille on red diamonds and metal interior door handles on.

Then had a go at carbon wrapping.

And got a wrapped front badge, tow ring and phillips diamond vision bulbs. Also all colour coded.

Got a eibach pro kit.

Had them fitted,Then got bored of the red and black so went white instead, and got a skoda splitter.

Bought some 172 wheels ( which were in pretty bad shape).

Then got them refurbed in white to go with the badges.

Thankyou, yeah I bought it as spares/repairs and he said that sometimes it ran sometimes it didnt, got it home and found out he had been running it on cooking oil so got a new tank, fuel lines and replaced the 4 injectors and is running spot on now. I have another engine that I was gonna put in it but sorted it now so thinking of buying another clio and putting that engine in.

Cheers, do it their brilliant little cars, make sure you get an 80 or a 100 though and yeah could believe it when I drained the tank lol.

Well me and dad have bought three Clio Dci so I had some spare injectors from them and coded them in ourselves.

Cheers everyone! just bought 25mm spacers all round so will fill the arches and look better will get some before and after photos, after the clutch is finished off tomorrow.

bit of an update, got my clutch done yesterday, and today the wheel spacers arrived so got them all on and sorted.

Coming along nicely this mate,

Just having a nosey after your PM to see if you have a project on the go and voila!

172 rear bumper would finish it off a treat,

Plain plates front and back would be cleaner though.

Cheers guy, yeah I think I'm gonna go with just plain standard ones maybe a 3/4 on the front. Thanks Ged yeah maybe want some that have good ride quality. Do you come to penrith much?

That car looks really stunning, youve kept it mint, the wheels for me are the highlight, great job, i agree with the nipple ring thing though, i would loose it also but the car looks fantastic, well done mate

Thanks appreciate the comments, yeah the wheels look good just cleaning them everyday is a bit of a ball ache hah and yeh nipple rings gone.

Hopefully a 172 rear bumper will be here next week from guysy.

thanks looks miles better, and it has 25mm all round, and it used to have them eibach prolines but took them off and sold them so saving now for some coilovers. going to be ordering the new plates soon realised how s**t they look now lol.

Very nice, the white works really well Im thinking of doing something similar, just buying a cheap shed to do up and play about with. Cant believe it had cooking oil in it though!
