Clio drained new battery in 2 days! Why?!

  Audi TT 3.2 V6
Do you have an aftermarket radio fitted? As suggested by Steve id get the battery checked for discharge as well as having the alternator/voltage regulator checked.

Is it possible you got a duff battery? Might be worth getting that checked/replaced under warranty as well

Well unknown, tried 3 different batteries now. The original one that came with car, a new one and a swapped one from my mrs 206 and all have been drained within hours. It was starting with jump leads then cutting out but now it keeps running but ABS light and ESP light comes on and the battery light stays on. Also you can only turning turn the steering wheel slightly before it feels like its hit a curb and bounced back. At a total loss here.

As SBV says you have a current drian. It could be so many things it would take weeks to talk you through it all.

For example, it could be, alternator shorting to ground, wiring loom short, ecu not sutting down properly, relays stuck, central locking motor jammed...... the list goes on.

Get it checked out by someone who knows what they are doing.

Probably quite easy to locate with the right equipment and know how AND seeing the car. Very very hard to solve on the net

Id say your alternator is fubar mate.

Would alternator drain battery in 2 days bare in mind the car has been running for about 2hrs in that 2 days.
Probably not a charging fault if the car has only been running for a few hours on a new battery (Ive known people run foir a week with no alternator and a new battery) But as i said could be a shorting alterntor. Silly to guess tho

Dont check anything!

Its a new battery so it should come with a warranty. Take it back get a new one. If it does it again then investigate

Sounds like the altenator to me. I had this problem and replaced the battery within 2 days it lost its charge. Recharged it and got to the stage that the alarm was going off at 6.30 every morning after being driven the evening before.
